²⁵ Omri did what was sinful in the eyes of the Lord. He acted worse than all who were before him. ²⁶ For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat. And in his sin he made Israel sin. They made the Lord God of Israel angry with their false gods. ²⁷ Now the rest of the acts of Omri and the strength that he showed, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
